This bar and chains oil works from hot 90° Down to the negatives. I will be honest here in the winter time I do run at 75% bar oil 25% used Amsoil. Not that I need to because it still stays liquid but it’s a good time to get rid of and recycle some used engine oil. Not that I recommend doing it and results may vary but I find that it still works fine.

SIMPLE. THIS BAR AND CHAIN OIL ROCKS!! Simply the best in my opinion. I'm glad I tried it. I'm never going back to my previous bar and chain oil. Thank you Amsoil!!

Obviously AMZ oil has got a special receipy on this one... You can tell immediatly as you start to pooring it in is has a bit of a honey mixed with oil feel... Bar and Chain runs cool and lubricated keeping that chain sharp longer. No more bar chain oil leaks when chainsaw is in storage.

Brand new Stihl MS-291. After the shop filled bar oil, went straight to Amsoil. This stuff is sticky. I also use it on the chain for my 2004 Yamaha YZ250f. Protecting my gear is good piece of mind.

I bought this to try in chain saws. I really like it. Chain and bar are better lubricated than using stihl. Not getting the fly off like before and teeth not looking burnt after cutting iced over logs. Going to be my only bar oil from now on.

Semi synthetic seems to work / flow better in winter in cold conditions for firewood cutting, tree falling of even the occasional late season or winter wild fire.

Have use other bar and chain oil nothing can beat it. Don't have to switch from winter to summer oil.

My saws use a seem to use less oil. More importantly the chainsaw blades stay sharp for longer periods of time.

Stick to chain really good

Great bar oil, use it for firewood bucking/felling. Runs in most size bars quite well, have not had a chance to run it in anything over 24”, and it is a little thin for extreme heat, 90 degree + it runs out like water. Other than that it works quite well, and even thin the oil still sticks to the chain you just use a lot more of it once the oil tank (Magnesium) gets hot. Saws used: Stihl MS 362 20-24” bar (ported) Stihl MS 025 16” bar

LASTS SUPER LONG AND CHAIN DOES NOT GET AS HOT

I decided to try some of this this season. It works very well. Most noticeable is the chain and bar don't seem as hot after use and my chains are going longer between sharpenings.

Great for chain and bar lube , chain lasts longer

I have always used Stihl or Husqvarna oils. I don’t believe in the cheap bar oil as I have seen premature wear from them. The Amsoil bar oil clings well to the chain and doesn’t leave a nasty residue. It flows well in all temperatures and my chains look great.
