RESERVE PROTECTION AGAINST HEAT AFTER 180,000 MILES
ABOT test performed by independent lab based on total acid number (TAN).
The transmission’s valve body is clean and virtually sludge-free following 180,000 severe-service miles. The clutch plates demonstrated only trace discoloration and earned a rating of “good,” the highest possible, for deterioration/wear.
PROTECTS AGAINST THERMAL BREAKDOWN

Since I bought the truck I had a small shutter between 3 and 6 during skip shift and now it's gone. It's worth the money to dump factory fluid and get the amsoil ulv. It seems to pretty much cover every popular make and model. It's been around for years, before the ultra thin high efficiency fluids, that I just don't trust yet. This is the baseline fluid and as always yielded better than factory fuel economy and a noticable reduction in operating temperatures. OUTSTANDING ATFBy ANTHONY J, a Verified Buyer from Virginia Beach, VA on March 25, 2025This is the second time I’ve flushed my transmission in my 2010 Toyota Tundra TRD 4X4. The first time I flushed the transmission I used the actual WS ATF, it was just fine. But when I used the Amsoil ATF I noticed a small difference for the better. I also replaced the transmission filter and pan (rubber) gasket. The first time I flushed I had 73,000 miles, I now have 130,000. The better from this oil change is, the transmission downshifts to first at 10MPH making left or right turns. Before it stayed in second gear. Also the overdrive snaps to attention! I also noticed a little better fuel mileage especially on the road. I just come off a 1,000 mile road trip visiting family. I have zero complaints.
