Best oil for the buck for my Turbo 1.4L engine - my average gas mileage (approx 38 mpg) now exceeds EPA estimated MPG for my vehicle - will continue to use it for the life of my vehicle to ensure the best gas mileage and performance possible. I use their product in almost all of my engines....

When it comes to motor oil I have been all over the map. There are very few oils I will use and after using many that were good and even with friction additives to bring up thier grouping and thier lubricity. I now only use Amzoil.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This oil works great in my Mercedes, BMW, and my mom's Audi. Valvetrain got much quieter and can hardly hear any noise from the timing chain. Had the valve cover gaskets replaced recently on a BMW and the head was so clean you could eat out of it. Definitely a great product. Oh and I do my oil changes every 15,000 miles.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I've used Amsoil 5W-40 in my 2003 Passat station wagon for most of the 100K miles it's been driven. The 2.8L V-6 always idled rough and the dealership had no suggestions as to how to improve things. The only product I tried that helped was Amsoil synthetic oil and so I stuck with it. The dealership recently did an assessment of my vehicle and said the engine was "pristine" inside. It still has amazing pick up and burns very little oil between changes. I'm really pleased with the product and will stick with it. Highly recommended.
The oil continues to offer great performance and I feel comfortable that my engine is protected in the best way possible.

I have used Amsoil for years because of its reliability and recently converted my 2014 Dodge Ram EcoDiesel over to Amsoil European Car Formula 5W-30. Although my vehicle only has 32,000+ miles on it now, I have noticed a slight increase in fuel mileage in town and on the highway. I will continue to use Amsoil for the life of this vehicle.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

The oil that can resist sludge in Audi engines

I use this product in the winter for my 2001 Audi 1.8T quattro equipped car because I live on a mountain. The temperatures in the winter time are always 5+/- degrees from an average temperature of 28* degrees in the season so having a superior oil is no exception, its the rule. Since my car is genuine factory turbo car it doesn't play nice with oil at ALL. This particular model was issued a sludge warning from Audi because of the destructive forces of heat from the turbocharger. I can call myself a spirited driver because I dont drive slow unless there is traffic on the road so therefore I am putting this oil and engine under stress at times. The oil protected my car from catastrophic failure when OEM K03 turbo went out at 175k miles. It also cleaned out factory oil cooler, now my engine temps are always at 205* degrees. The valve-train is very quiet at 178k miles and you barely hear any hydraulic lifter noises at all. You really get what you pay for! Only con about this oil is that it is not readily available in local stores or vendors since they do not stock up on it. I would recommend this oil to anyone who maintains their German vehicle to a high degree.
I have used Amsoil for the past 28 years and will not use anything else it is in my opinion the best oil made and I will not settle for nothing less. I use it in all my car's, truck's motorcycles, quad's lawn equipment, chain saws, and log splitter.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I use this oil in my 2003 330i Bimmer, although it is not on BMW's recommended list of synthetic oils. As far as I know, it works well. I do have complete confidence in AMSOil products.

I've run this for 2yrs in my 1.8T Jetta, I do a year between changes using 25K oil filter. Oil comes out looking great after a year, and starts great on cold Illinois mornings.
I use this oil since I bought my 2013Fiat 500 Turbo with 3k miles on her and now at 48k she's running just as strong as I got her. I use amsoil for everything that needs oil and I love their products I don't have any complaints I highly recommend to give them a try.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This product is all that I use in my 98 MB Diesel.
I have nearly 300,000 miles on my Benz diesel and it is still functioning efficiently. It doesn't use any oil or show indications of any excessive wear.
Waited a while for Amsoil to develop an oil to meet MB requirements. After reading about all the problems with the MB diesel OM642- I believe a lot of the issues come from using poor quality oil and not maintaining regular oil changes. I have been using Amsoil in my boat (5.0 L Volvo Penta) for years - and it is still going strong. Hoping for the same results with my MB turbo diesel.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I use this in my 2012 VW Golf TDi. I bought my car new in jan 2013. at 5K miles I changed to amsoil I order the mann filter also. VW uses Mann as well but its a bit cheaper from amsoil. I now have 88200 miles on the car. I changed the oil every 5K miles. I did slip and let it go 9000K recently. 10K is the standard by VW. I drive a lot as anyone can see. I have done nothing to the car. I don't even need brakes. My guess if I was to keep the car and run Amsoil I would have gone 500K miles. Unfortunately the VW TDi ordeal will cut my time short with the car. Amsoil is the only oil I use in all my car and motorcycles and I have no issues. My next Audi or VW I will switch also to Amsoil also.
