    Going by recommendation. Amsoil filters seem well made and so far function EXQUISITELY. I have been using them for over 15 years. I have no clue why, but read the specs and maybe it makes sense why motors last 250k miles with Amsoil lubricants and filters. I buy for a jeep, 2 Suburbans, and a Jaguar. I’d buy for my vintage cars as well, but they don’t list my brand.

    This oil filter i believe does every thing that Amsoil clams it will do. I will be using this filter from now on.

    I do not use any other oil in any of my equipment! That includes mu Ram 1500, my Lincoln Town car, my wife's Mazda Miata, and my John Deere lawn mower!

    I've been using Amsoil for about 30 years now. Once I started using these "Absolute Efficiency" filters, in combination with the recommended oil, piston ring wear pretty much ended for good. Although they are somewhat more expensive than regular oil filters, the price is well worth it for the long-term protection you get!
