I became a preferred member of AMSOIL in 2009 when I stopped by their booth at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. American made and owned. They offered oils for both my GAS and DIESEL vehicles. I now have two diesel vehicles and the motorcycle. I buy this oil for my Chevy Cruze Diesel and it's been fantastic.

This is the least expensive oil Amsoil produces but it will not beat Mobil 1, Royal Purple, Pennzoil Platinum or Valvoline Advanced in comparison tests, yet all of those oils are similar in price. Amsoil is pricing itself out of the market.

I changed from signature to OE because I want to still do 6 month oil changes. Truck engine was switched to Amsoil after 1000 miles. Engine runs smoothly like ball bearings on glass. 2021 Ford fi50 5.0 coyote

Amsoil wants a review. Ok I have used the oil for my 2015 Ram 1500 Hemi for over 2 years and my truck runs just fine.
Oem owners manual recommends change about every 10,000 miles depending on driving conditions.
Mine is mostly highway, Amsoil implies it is good for about 25,000 if I remember right.
I checked at 15,000 was a quart low. Topped it off. Will be changing at 20,000.
Engine runs and sounds fine, oil looks brownish, not black like the other syn oil I used which I changed every 10,000 miles.
Very happy with the savings.
