I could almost swear it shifts better

I replaced both front and rear differential fluids about a month ago. I noticed a change almost immediately. High-quality fluids definitely make a difference. I have no doubts that my rig will be ready to do some heavy towing!!!

I’ve always run marine gear oil in my dually while towing 10,000–15,000 lbs without any problems. I decided to try Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-90 since it’s supposed to have more friction modifier than the marine oil. Instead, as soon as I put it in the diff, it caused chattering and vibrations and wouldn’t allow the gears to slip properly. I’ve never had to add friction modifier with the marine oil, so I was really surprised this product needed it. Maybe it was a bad batch, but for something marketed as Amsoil’s best gear oil, I expected better. I’ll likely be switching back to marine gear oil.

Changed gear oil for over two weeks on my 2019 Genesis G70, no issues.

Perfect for what I needed to change front/rear differential and transfer case on my 19 Tacoma! Very easy to use! A friend swears by AMSOIL so I went for it!!! Going to check out more of their products in the future!!!

Very satisfied with this fluid, and it’s nice to not have to add friction modifier. The bag-type packaging makes filling so easy on modern vehicles. My vehicle has a pan hard bar that would make using bottles very difficult, but the bag design easily conformed to the space and made filling very easy.

Replaced my transfer case and rear differential fluid on my 2025 k5 with amsoil’s gear oil. Amsoil completely made the driveline much quieter. Always use Amsoil in all my vehicles.

Stinger Gear Box Co. recommends it in their gear boxes. I have a 640 hp. plus 150 shot of Nitrous in an Airboat. No problems and I wouldn’t run anything else. Highly recommend.

This used in the 3.64 diff in my track car. It was recommended by the shop that built the diff. I change it every season and have been very happy with the performance of this weight fluid for my application.

75w85 is hard to find locally...in fact, pretty much impossible. Even Amsoil was out of stock when I first tried to order it. But this what my F-150 calls for in both the front and rear diffs. I waited until they had it back in stock. I trush Amsoil products to provide the quality and performance equal to or exceeding any other brand. I had just had the truck's transmission fluid and filter changed at a transmission shop (that is not a diy job) and now I've changed the front and rear diff fluid plus the transfer case fluid. (Thank goodness, that stuff was black when it came out!)
