I used the serve gear 75W-140 because of the extreme hot weather here in Florida. My Ford Explorer PTU is known to brake down due preventive maintenance guide line require by Ford service manual. With the high mileage this lube hopefully help and prolong the life of the PTU.

Better price than the BRP version from a dealer and the packaging makes it less of a PITA to do the change.

Short version: great product, great packaging, happy customer. Long version: Changed the differential fluid (2012 Mustang GT, 3.73 rear gears, Trac-Lock LSD) and I am very happy with Amsoil's 75W-140 Severe Gear lube. The bagged oil was very easy to use and I got all the oil out of the bag with some finagling and rolling up the bag. Gears are nice and quiet (no noise whatsoever) and no chatter from the LSD (Slip Lock on hand, if ever needed). Buy with confidence.

Used this im my Kaiser jeep M35A2 military truck or known as the deuce and half got cooler temps quiter and better lubrication for sure seams to run more freely could actually feel a difference i also use the 5/30 signature series diesel oil in this truck with the cetane boost amsoil definitely knows how to make a high quality product

This is great oil- I have used it several times over the past years. Easy to put in diff with the pouches. No pump needed.
