Wow, very impressed! I’ve never heard my truck idle so smooth and quiet; I used to run Rotella T6 with Archoil AR9100 friction modifier. Don’t get me wrong, it was a good combo. But the AMSOIL is that much better. And if you add up the cost, it’s actually cheaper and it gets dropped on my door step. I also changed over too AMSOIL ATF and diff oil. I have noticed a slight MPG gain of around 1.5 mpg. I’m going to run double OEM mileage and see as far as long term. But as of now, my truck runs soooo smooth.
I have been using AMSOIL in all my diesel trucks for years now. My oldest is a 2002 Duramax that now has 378K miles on the original engine.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I’ve always used this brand on anything I have with a motor and I wanted a long life out of my diesel with the right lubricants for internal parts. So why cheap out when it matters the most

great product, amsoil is just amazing stuff, buy it!!
I might go back to the 15w40 for summer. 2004.5 Cummins 5.9 H.O.
I have used Amsoil in the engine for 15 years. Low oil residue results.
Almost no evaporation. Filters are Amsoil, Wix, or Mobil One.
I never exceed 10000 miles between changes. Oil levels are always normal.
Early on I used to use Royal Purple. At 10000 miles i would be 1 quart down.
Recently I had my vehicle serviced at our local dealership. The mechanics had to replace the upper and lower oil pan gaskets on my 6.7 Superduty with 120K miles. The mechanics wanted to meet me to express their surprise on the internal cleanliness of my engine.
Been using the oil since I bought my truck new and will never go to another oil!! I have an 05 dodge ram and did the same thing been using the oil since I bought it brand new and I had to replace the head gasket and the mechanic asked what oil I use and I told him Amsoil and he asked for how long I said since I bought it new I asked why , he said it has no gunk built up any where looks like a new engine!!!! Pure proof that yall have the best product period. My truck has 325,000 miles on the 5.9 Cummings .

I have noticed less regens while using this product. Also my DEF is lasting longer as well. The MAP sensor just went 55k miles before getting plugged up with soot. The first time was at 22k miles on Original Equipment oil. Increased mpg as well about 2 mpg better.
Coming back from a round-trip CA to TX and back, then 60 miles from home had turbo problems on my 2014, RAM 3500, with 61K miles. We use the pickup about 80+ % of the time pulling our fifth wheel trailer. The local RAM dealer did the repairs and made a note on my receipt, that from what they could see, we had an exceptionally clean looking engine interior. Except for my original oil when I got the truck, it's had Amsoil 15W-40 ever since.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Owning and operating a horse park, we have dozens of diesel engines from small to large. Amsoil has become our go-to oil for all our engines. Not only do the engine run quieter, less consumption and we have been able to extend our drain intervals (verified with oil analysis). We even use this for our fun bracket racing engines. Very pleased all the way around.
I never worry about oiling issues with my John Deere 2320. I've put an increasing number of hours on the tractor in recent years which I use for a combination of very hot weather/ conditions pasture mowing, chipping, snow removal and logging. My usage ranges from low speed operation in colder weather to high rpm PTO usage for chipping and pasture mowing. Logging requires a fair amount of idling then low rpm winching and mid rpm heavy pulls and pallet fork usage for stacking logs. I change my oil once a year (50-150 hours depending on the year) I don't abuse the tractor but it's working hard every time that it's running. I worry about breaking parts on it but I never worry about engine lubrication.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
