MIXING AMSOIL
AMSOIL Synthetic 20W-50 Premium Protection Motor Oil is compatible with conventional and synthetic motor oils. Mixing AMSOIL motor oils with other oils, however, will shorten the oil life expectancy and reduce the performance benefits. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed. Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL Synthetic Oils.SERVICE LIFE
AMSOIL Synthetic 20W-50 Premium Protection Motor Oil is recommended for extended intervals in unmodified, mechanically-sound vehicles or equipment as follows:Diesel Engine Service
–Normal Service - Up to 40,200 kilometers or one year, whichever comes first, or longer based on oil analysis.
–Severe Service - Up to 24,000 kilometers or one year, whichever comes first, or longer based on oil analysis.Gasoline Engine Service
–Normal and Severe Service - Up to 24,000 kilometers or one year, whichever comes first, or longer based on oil analysis.Motorcycles, Small Engines, Stationary Engines, Heavy Equipment and Other Applications
–Extend drain intervals based on oil analysis or follow the manufacturer-recommended drain interval.AMSOIL Full-Flow Oil Filters are designed for extended drain intervals. They stop smaller particles, flow more oil and last longer than regular filters. For best performance, use AMSOIL Ea Full-Flow Oil Filters and replace at the time of oil change. Other oil filters should be changed at standard OEM* intervals.

20,000 between changesBy ART, a Verified Buyer from Tennessee on October 19, 2025I use this oil an average of 20,000 between changes always changing the filter and fresh oil each time dealer wants you to change it every 6000 miles the router of mind. My last oil change cost me $300 believe it or not they charge me $4.75 a quart to install my own oil. Then they charge the audacity to charge me $100 to replace and change my fuel filter which I brought my own I own my own filter and my own fuel filter. These people are out of their mind with these kind of charges $229 an hour to service a vehicle just $229 an hour just to look at the damn thing#Warranty problems are an issue no matter what you get it done you do it yourself or you get them to do it the bastards will find some reason not to cover itBottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful?
