This review reflects usage on a 2023 Harley Davidson Street Glide. I am aware that the “clunking” in the transmission is the nature of the beast on these things. But wow, talk about loud! Despite having just had the dealer change everything for the 1,000 mile service, I was changing the primary fluid again to address clutch issues. While I had the bike on the lift, I went ahead and drained the new OEM fluid out of the transmission and replaced it with Amsoil Synthetic V-Twin Transmission Fluid. The first ride told the story! The transmission shifts much smoother and the noise level has been greatly reduced. A Harley transmission is never going to be “quiet,” but the ultra-loud clunking and banging is gone. It’s only Amsoil in this bike from here on out!

Always ran the synthetic oil, but this stuff is the real deal 100% recommend, smooth shifts and easy to find neutral!!

I have switched to this from using the motor oil in all three holes and it shifts better and smoother and no debris on the magnet and it’s always clean, clear fluid when drained

This product has worked flawlessly for 60,000 kms. Only reason for not going 5 star is on a chrome dipstick it is very hard to see. Would be nice to have an added color to aid in visual check on the lipstick.

Good product

I've been using amsoil , not only Transmission oil, but the V-Twin oil as well in most of my Harley Davidsons for 20 years. In saying al that, my current Roadglide CVO now has 116k miles on the second motor, the first went just a shy tad of 100k which the mechanic who put the new motor i stated that 100k is really great for a Harley engine! That says a lot for regular Maintenance and using "Amsoil" for that complete period of time.
