I personally have run this oil in all of my diesel engines for many years and would recommend it.

I've bought this oil for summer time adding. 500 cm3 ( 500ml ) above normal level will not hurt engine, but will effectively decrease engine temperature. I do believe in AMS quality and recommend this oil every one.

Have had great results with this oil, live in Indiana and the winters here can be pretty rough, the cold starts were phenomenal Great Product! Had to change valve cover gasket last summer and the inside of the engine looked Awesome A+++

Amsoil is a very well known and respected brand. In oil testing, it consistently performs better than any other oil. The down side is the price. Amsoil is one of the best and you pay for it. So if you have the money, I highly recommend it. However, I have also used other brands such as Royal Purple and Pensoil. The royal purple I used contained Synerlec and was on par for price with the Amsoil signature series. However, in driving I had better gas mileage with the royal purple and slightly better performance. For my less expensive vehicles, I typically use Pensoil platinum. It is about half the cost and performs nearly as well. Even in testing it came it rated slightly behind Amsoil but at half the cost, slightly behind is fine for my less expensive vehicles.

I've used various Amsoil products for years and have never had a mechanical engine problem using Amsoil. I'm currently using this oil on a particular European diesel engine and performing oil analysis at every oil change. Results have been improving since switching from factory recommend oil to this. I'm getting lower aluminum wear numbers, and lower iron wear. Viscosity and TBN numbers have held up well to 5k miles and the oil analysis reports comments have stated oil was safe for continued use. I still change at 5k because the engine still has it emissions intact(EGR, DPF). Considering that, i'm still amazed at 80k miles that the oil isn't black as coal 2000 miles after an oil change.

I’ve been an AMSOIL customer for over 30 years and recently decided to run AMSOIL FS Synthetic European Motor Oil 5W-40 in my 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio (2.9L twin-turbo). Within a short period of driving, it noticeably reduced a noisy valve train on the right bank and the engine felt smoother overall. To validate the change, I also had the oil analyzed by a professional lab — results came back with all levels within normal range, and the oil was deemed suitable for continued use at the time of sampling. This is absolutely the best motor oil that I've ever used. I highly recommend this oil for all of your vehicles. Moreover, I joined the Amsoil club and took advantage of the best pricing.

I run this oil in a 2010 Sprinter with the OM642 diesel engine. I do regular oil samples, and the results are very consistent. I currently have 230,000+ miles and the engine runs great!

Took noise out of motor

Was burning up Pennzoil platinum like it was going out of style made the switch and am genuinely thrilled it's still getting burned up but no where near the rate with the same requirements from fararri

Have tried royal purple, liquid molley, and mobile one all full synthetic i have a 2014 vw jetta gli 2.0 had a rattle when cold start and a little light tick when car was warm. No comparison to amsoil it stopped the rattle and the tick i change oil every 3k to 4k miles and the oil is clean my car has 173k miles runs smooth strongly recommended.

I have used this oil in my 2014 VW TDI I change my oil every 5K and I have had zero issues with this oil!

This oil is great in my 2001 silverado 3500 my truck cold starts are much easier fuel mileage is better. I highly recommend this product.

Since this oil has been used for the past few hill climbs, I have noticed much quitter engine valve train performance and even smoother startups. Impressed so far.

My close friend (passed several years ago RIP CT) wanted the best oil for his motorcycle. He researched and found Amsoil. Then through a bunch of bikers met a guy that owned 70 Jiffy Lubes franchises and my friend was a dealer and started selling Amsoil products to his guy with the Jiffy Lubes. My friend knew ALL the technical stuff about Amsoil. THIS is the TOP of the line! BETTER than Mobil 1. Actually Mobil 1 came to market BECAUSE of Amsoil. I use it in all my engines. Change the oil ONCE per year. Yes it cost more but for a year it actually cost less! AND when I put it in my Jeep here in OH the difference in the winter was significant. Petroleum oil engine turned over slow. Amsoil starts were 1000 times faster! I became a dealer for a while and now am preferred customer (discounted from retail). There is an oil/lubricant for every application! Get it.

I found the product I needed with ease, the price was great. I have heard about Amsoil for years, but never owned a car worth using it.

Do yourself a favor, you won't fine a finer product... I did the leg work for my Audi fans.
