My 2010 Denali with the 6.2 L engine had the infamous tapping (sticking lifter) noise. The oil was new when I received the Amsoil engine and trans flush. I put it in and the new oil came out the colour of tar. After new oil and filter the tapping was a lot less. Ran it for 10,000 kil. and did a (2)second flush and again it came out black. Did the oil/filter change started it up and NO tapping. Great result I didn't expect.

I used it for 3 oil changes on my VW and Toyota. It makes life much easier by loosening up thick deposits. The oil drains out so much faster and cleaner with the added benefit of keeping the engine clean. Don't skimp out of oil, transmission fluid, and coolant.

Hoping this product reduces the oil consumption problem my 2.4 liter Rav4 engine has; a design flaw in the piston oil ports being too small causes the sweeper rings to gum up, not "sweeping" the oil from the cylinder walls at each stroke., thereby burning oil. Couple that with the elimination of detergent additives in the oil we buy and you create a perfect storm for oil consumption. This Amsoil additive is safe, it contains strong detergents to dissolve sludge buildup. Hopefully this will loosen up the sweeper rings so they "sweep" oil off, and then open up the undersized oil ports around the top of the piston head. If this product is able to do this...it will save an engine rebuild. Time will tell...thanks Amsoil

Runs smoothly

I used this in a 4.3 V6 with 200,000 miles. I could definitely tell a difference in performance after serving truck along with the other Amsoil products used. Planning to use on all my engines when servicing them and every other time from then on. In my garage it’s a Must have!

I have a customer with an 2012 Honda Pilot. While adjusting the valves the front head was covered in sludge and oil and carbon residue. The VVTI system was not working properly due to this. I added a bottle of the Amsoil engine cleaner and ran the engine for 20 minutes. After removing the oil and changing the filter the DTC for number 5 cylinder went away. We are scheduled to repeat the process in 5K miles.

Great product for cleaning the VCTs, timing chain tensioners and oil channels. In combination with the signature series oil and the EAO17 filter I have 300,000 miles on my ecoboost and it still sounds like it did at 80,000

I turn wrenches for a living and have been wanting to check out Amsoil for some time now. I got a couple chevy trucks, 1 with a lifter ticking noise on cold start ever since i got it. I've done few engine flushes with liquimoly or autozone's house brand stuff and never rid it. I used Amsoil's Engine and Transmission Flush and Signature's Series oil and for the first time ever the ticking is completely gone!! they saved me the hassle of ripping off the heads and changing the lifters they made a believer out of me and I'll NEVER use anything else!!

We have always used this product in the used cars we’ve purchased. Why put clean oil in a dirty engine.

I bought my 2013 EcoBoost with 70,000 miles on it. Been using the motorcraft full synthetic in it since purchase. In the last year and a half I put almost 35,000 mi on it and it definitely hasn't been running as smooth. I noticed my oil had been coming out dirtier than normal on the last two oil changes. So I decided to start using amsoil signature series. Before I switched over I drained the oil and threw on a new filter and filled it up with motorcraft full synthetic. After a week of driving on it I dumped a bottle of this flush in the oil and let it idle for 15 minutes. The oil I drained out looked as if I had put another 5,000-10k miles on it. Maybe even dirtier than previous oil changes. I decided to flush it again with some clean oil, and even then more debris and carbon came out(without the additive). I am now switched over to signature series amsoil, hoping that'll make a difference. Only Time Will tell. But as far as flushing out carbon and engine deposits. I can visually verify that this stuff does what it says it will do. Great stuff. Next month we do the transmission!

Flush my oil every oil change

Made my truck sound and feel like it did when it was new. Increased mileage by 2mpg, 6.7 Cummins, 152k miles.

Cleaned out a ton of crap from my Engine that had previously been leaking diesel fuel into the coolant system and coolant into my oil.

Get that sludge out! Helps to clean rings and restore compression.

The oil before I poured in the flush was clear but used... and after 15 minutes when I drained it was jet black .. and I found black flakes in the filter. The vehicle 2011 4runner is new to me 109,000 miles previous owner used mobile one
