I have used this oil before, but not with the friction modifier added. I don't need a friction modifier in my differential and I wish AMSOIL would bottle it without it in the package. If you're not responsible enough to add enough friction modifier to your differential oil when you change it (if it is needed), then you shouldn't be changing it. Some differentials need more friction modifier with the same amount of oil. AMSOIL or ANY oil may not have enough friction modifier for your differential in concentration for your application. You may need more. Some Differentials need more than 1 bottle. Is AMSOIL or ANY other oil concentrated enough with modifier to meet the needs of your application?

I have a 2021 Toyota Tacoma with 6000mi on her. Been switching factory fluids and I’m really impressed. Did my 1000/5000 oil change and just replaced rear diff. Whining noise went away from the rear end. Highly recommended Amsoil

Had a shutter in differential, used Mobil1 with an additive last time. Severe gear made a big difference. My truck is running smooth again. 06 Tacoma with tow package.

Serviced both differentials and installed a new Banks rear cover. They recommended the Amsoil for my truck. Very pleased with the oil and the lubrication on my gears. Will stay with Amsoil now.

Since changing the fluid in my front and rear differential, I notice that my vehicle (2021 Lexus IS 300 awd) accelerates very smoothly and quickly and is very quiet. I trust Amsoil products to ensure maximum performance and protection for my vehicle. I drive where there are many hills and steep roads , and this fluid resists thermal breakdown and protects the metal to metal surfaces of gears better than any other differential fluid I've used. Highly recommend.

I wanted to change the rear differential gear oil in my BMW M6. I'm very impressed with AMSOIL products and wanted to use the Severe Gear 75W-140 100% Synthetic. I glad that AMSOIL added 10W-60 100% Synthetic for my oil change.

I've used Amsoil in every one of my rear differentials since MY 2000. I have changed each of my vehicles rear axles into limited slip axles using an Eaton Truetrac and Amsoil severe gear has performed flawlessly in each one with no excessive slippage or grabbing. This differential oil is superior to any I've used in the past. I've used it in vehicles that were driven over 3500 mikes a month tomy current vehicle that rarely gets driven 3000 miles in 6 months and it's performed flawlessly.

I've always used Amsoil oil , spend a little more for exceptional products. Will always use Amsoil in all my vehicles. When you go to dealer and or mechanic they use basic oils, that's why I change my own, I know what's going in the engine

I have only been running it a few weeks, but it seems great so far.

This product is not compatible with GM limited slip rear differentials. Change the rear end fluid in my 2021 GMC 2500 HD and used Amsoils 75w-90. It ruined the limited slip clutch in my rear end. Do not risk it, you must use the limited slip additive with this gear oil. Very disappointed.

I hardly ever write reviews, but this one has been earned. I have used amsoil marine engine oil and gear lube since new in my 2011 Yamaha f40. It’s on a 20 ft work boat and if it’s not hulling materials to islands or pushing a barge with landscape materials and excavators the kids would be using it for waterskiing. It has had a tough life and still runs flawlessly after 14 years day in and day out all summer long. Engine and gear oils still come out clean after all these years I’d highly recommend amsoil marine oils.
