I have maintained all my vehicles for over fifty years. I have a 2009 HHR SS with 130,000 miles that I purchased new and up until three years ago I only ran Mobil 1 synthetic oil as recommended by GM. I have my oil analyzed by Blackstone Labs at every 7500 miles and up until 90,000 miles the oil report was fine. At the next oil change the oil report began to show excessive wear particles in several categories. I switched to Amsoil engine oil and filters and I immediately saw an improvement in the oil analysis. On the third analysis using Amsoil my oil report was back to acceptable levels. I monitor the operating conditions on my engine daily and using Amsoil also lowered the operating temperature. Upon inspection, the internals on the engine are extremely clean and I see no reason that this engine should not last beyond 300,000 miles. If you plan to keep a vehicle for the long haul you would be well served to use Amsoil oil and filter products.

I finally decided to swap our 2015 over to all Amsoil products after the warranty expired. I always hear claims about how good the oil is, and never doubted it but I’m so so on stuff I can’t see or prove with my own eyes. After about a week or so of having this oil in my idle smoothed out to almost no vibration or noise. The engine was ticking, probably lifter noise like typical with GM engines, but that also went away. Super satisfied with the switch so far!!! Great product

Great for turbos

I've been using this 0W20 oil for a number of years. Even in used older autos with high mileage. Just flush the engine and add fresh 0W20 and new Amsoil filter and go with confidence.

I have switched all my vehicles over to AMSOIL. It is a great product. I was squeamish at first to put that many miles on an oil but in combination with a superior oil filter I don't sweat the idea anymore. My vehicles run great and clean!
