I began using Amsoil back in the 80's after reading their claims vs conventional oil. After some years, I transitioned to one nationaly recognised synthetic I could buy at a big box store...it was about the same cost, a little more convenient, and I reasoned, probably good enough. In the process of time, I bought a 94 Miata. After some work, it ran well, nearly 30 mpg, but the lifters were noisey. To quite the lifters, I took each one apart, cleaned them, and reassembled all 24 of them with 10-40 high mileage oil of that one brand of synthetic. Much to my surprise, the lifters were now much worse. I immediately changed the oil to that same one brand, but 0-30. This made the lifters quieter, like they were before I cleaned them. On a lark, I decided to try Amsoil 5-30 in the Miata. I could not believe the difference! I had done all that work, but all I needed to do was pour in a higher quality oil. The idle was now smooth and quiet; so much so that when I sold the car to another Miata enthusiat (advertising the smooth and quite engine at 185,000 miles), all they did before paying my asking price was open the hood to see the engine idling. Amsoil. I've seen it make a diffdrence.

The recommended Dexos1 oil for my turbocharger car is 5W30. Amsoil is one of the few (only) companies who offer a high quality 0W30 that is Dexos1 certified. Disclaimer, I have no interest in using 'house brand' for my car. Personally I believe aftermarket manufacturers like Amsoil have more incentive to keep my vehicle lasting longer. I have the luxury of not having to drive my car to work, so the annual mileage is well below average. My car also sits for weeks on end and having the lighter oil helps to quickly lubricant my engine when I start it for the first time. I change the oil once a year instead of the kilometres. Choosing the lighter oil increased fuel economy in the summer and allowed easy starting in the winter on those -35°C days (no block heater). In the winter I enjoy skiing in the mountains so I need an oil that stays fluid in extreme cold. On a hot summer day in stop/go traffic I feel confident running the lighter 0W30 oil in my car knowing that my engine is protected. Overall great product and will continue to use 0W30 Signature Series for years to come.

I use this oil in my Dodge Hemi and change oil every 25,000 miles. It does not use any oil between changes and runs great.

I switched to amsoil in 2007 and have never looked back. It's the only Brand I trust in my vehicles.

Use in a 14 year old truck, no tapping when truck is started after sitting for days

I used this oil in my 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser, which I use as my off-road vehicle and my daily driver. Compared to the other most recommended oil in my community, I found Amsoil to perform better. You may ask how I know it performs better. Well, I have been working on my family's cars since I was 13, so for about 33 years. I live where temps range from wind chill of -20F to heat index of 115F, and some days in the year the actual high between two days will change 40F. So how do I know it performs better? I can hear it, and I can feel it. I know that sounds silly, but growing up with a car that broke down 40 times in the first 4 years that I had it, I became very in tune to the sounds and feel of vehicles. Amsoil engine oil made my engine run quieter (on a 40,000 mile engine) and smoother (feel it in the pedal and floor vibrations from the engine bay).

I use Amsoil ONLY in my truck, car, Harley, and outboard engines!

Since the day I first put this oil in my car's engine, never had any grinding or locking issues. Amazing product. Very reliable. Orders get shipped on time and arrive on time. Won't go wrong with using this fine line of synthetics.

I use the oil filter and the 25,000 mile oil for the mileage listed or once a year, whichever comes first. The once a year always comes first for me. Thanks for such a good oil.

I have been using Amsoil for over 25 years, although somewhat pricey, well worth it! I do oil changes every 10,000 miles and have put as much as 275,000 on my car without any engine knocks or breakdowns. I realize they recommend going 25,000 between complete changes, but I prefer to go every 10(k). This is the best of the best synthetic oil on the market!!

Keeps my Jeep running good

I find this oil to be worthy and the best of all oils. I can not believe that I put this oil in my 2005, Dodge Ram, 98000 miles, 4X4, Quad Cab, Hemi over 3000 miles ago, I just checked the oil and it still looks like the day I put it in. I used to have a little lifter tick, that went away and surprisingly I am getting a few miles better per. gallon, my truck simply runs smoother and quieter. Yes, this oil cost more, believe me my truck takes 7 courts, but I personally feel that if I can keep my truck for another 10 years for a little more now, then that is a big savings to me in more ways then one because, I like my truck, it still looks great and drives great, the best part is, it's paid off years ago and I don't see any reason to put myself in debt because I wanted to save a few bucks on oil.
