Test ABOT réalisé par un laboratoire indépendant sur la base de l'indice d'acide total (Ia).
Le corps des valves de la transmission est propre et virtuellement exempt de boues après un service intense de 180 000 miles. Les disques d'embrayage n'ont démontré qu'une faible décoloration et se sont vus octroyer la meilleure cote possible pour la détérioration et l'usure.

Had a heavy shudder in transmission, torque converter slipping, RPM’s up and down while driving. Took truck to transmission shop and was told truck needed new transmission and torque converter. $6000 estimate. After researching the issue, changed filter and fluid to the Amsoil fluid. Solved every issue I was having. Transmission performs better, shifts smoother than when I purchased the truck new from the dealership. Made a believer out of me. Towing a travel trailer and being a mechanic, I have first hand experienced the smooth shifting with less clutch disc material on the magnets and filter between changes. 10R80 runs smoothBy SAUL, a Verified Buyer on March 11, 2025I used Ford's ULV at 30k miles. The trans runs good but every once in a while the trans would have hard shifts. I drained and filled with Amsoil's ULV at 47k miles. I immediately noticed the difference in shifting. I think the 10R80 really likes Amsoil. I've ran the Amsoil ULV for about 2k miles and have not had a hard shift with the trans. At 60k miles I'll be dropping the pan, change the filter and loading with Amsoil ULV.Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful?
