Used the flush as recommended, switched over to Amsoil oil

Was trying to address a torque converter shudder in my truck that would happen around 55 to 65 km/h, especially driving uphill under light throttle. Fluid wasn't burnt but definitely looked old and greyish-red. Followed the instructions and ran this stuff through my 4L60e before doing a passive flush through the radiator return port. I was hesitant to use this flush on my transmission since most reviews I found are for people using it in their engines. I removed and replaced fluid 3 to 4 quarts at a time by running the truck intermittently. The first 2-3 drains had a lot of visible fine metallic specs suspended in the fluid, which I 100% believe was due to the Amsoil Engine and Transmission Flush. Once I had removed more than the total capacity of the trans and started to consistently see fresh fluid, I dropped the pan and replaced the filter + gasket. Now, I have no way of knowing how much material was stuck to the pan magnet before the flush, but man that magnet was absolutely saturated with super-fine metallic particles. I filled the tranny back up after bolting up the pan, flushed out another 3 quarts or so, and filled it up the rest of the way. I exchanged and replaced a total of 20 quarts of ATF, with the last 10 quarts being Amsoil Signature Series Fuel-Efficient ATF. The shudder is gone and my shifts are much less sluggish. 1st to 2nd gear is still annoyingly harsh under light throttle, I can't expect a fluid flush to address that. Thanks Amsoil! Will be using this stuff in the engine as well before my next oil change.

This flush is pretty good. I have used this in all of my vehicles and impressed with the clean. I wouldn't use it every oil change, of course that's trying to just sell the product. I say use this every 50,000 maybe? I used another popular one where you have to drop the pan. This one is less work.

Have been using this on my Ford F250 after each oil change. I do notice that it cleans out the old oil and doesn't appear to harsh on the engine. I use 5W-40 Amsoil diesel oil and filter and it makes my F250 run like new, quieter and smoother.

Now even though my car is new, (2020 Honda Civic Type R) at 3000 miles I went ahead and changed out the oil with Amsoil's 0W-20. Before doing this I did something that I'm not sure I was suppose to do and that was to flush out the engine before adding in the new oil. So far things have been great. Time will tell if I made a mistake in doing this, but I just wanted to keep the engine as clean and maintained as possible.

Ran this stuff through a 05 Civic with 225k miles on it. Drained oil pan and oil came out with small sludge clumps and very dark. Not used oil dark. You could tell it had cleaned the internal engine components. Quieted the valve lifters also. Worked as advertised!

When I flushed my oil with this product, there were black sludge deposits that looked like a giants snot wads. Great cleaning power!

I use this with every oil change.Years ago I did not, and notice new oil appeared dirtier sooner without the flush.

Great product, works well especially with the extended drain intervals.

Before I put it in . I Took off the oil cap filler you could really see How brown it was from the oil stains after flush it was very shiny!

Amsoil Engine and Transmission Flush is a great way to start you oil change process! Used it in my 2018 5.7 RAM last oil change and got noticeably higher oil pressure. My engine also seemed much quieter!

For engine flush is the best over all

I've never used this in my transmission but I've used this to prep two engines for Amsoil Signature Series. It is great for cleaning out pockets of sludge in the engine! The oil that came from my oil change in the 1987 Ford 300 was very thick and dark. I have maintained that truck engine since it was my daily driver for six to seven years.

I feel great knowing that the oil im putting in is not gonna be contaminated by gunk in the engine.

BMW S1000XR. 52k on the bike, runs better than new. I expect to post someday with an extreme mileage score on original motor.

When you see the black color of the old oil you say to yourself : a regular flush is not enough. Why contaminate your new oil.

This gets out all the old and makes more room for the new. The only oil products I use!

Use this Before oil changed. You can definitely see the loose sludge particles come out after using it

Are you still in my voice Chevy Cruze for the oil change. And can actually see sludge particles come out when draining the engine oil after use.
